Community outreach to Widows and Orphans of PHLIWVC

On Saturday 5th December 2020, the Women E-Bible Study Ministry, Abuja, reached out to over 20 widows and vulnerable children at Passion for Hope Initiative for Widows and Vulnerable Children Abacha Barracks. 13 WEBS sisters were present for the outreach to evangelize, counsel, distribute food items, clothing apparel, and other donated items.

An opening prayer was led by Omatsola, and Sister Omaboyowa, the Founder of WEBS Ministries, gave an overview of WEBS and how it was founded during the COVID lockdown era. Facilitator, Faith Edeme, shared her story about her life as a widow and the challenges she faced due to the death of her husband. She challenged women to speak out, and Madam Uju, the host, and many other women shared their stories. At the end of the outreach, 15 widows were identified as those for business empowerment, financial assistance for children in school, one on one counselling, etc. WEBS hopes to connect these women to the necessary help they need.
