WEBS reaches out to street kids in Port Harcourt

On 5th April 2021, WEBS Ministry conducted community outreach to several street kids around Rumomasi junction and Rumola flyover Port Harcourt. In attendance were 3 WEBS sisters and 8 volunteers, and about 80 people were reached. The children were gathered at the Military Plaza/shopping complex Rumomasi. They were reached with food packs, back-to-school items, and a bag of slippers donated. The word of God was also shared with the children; young boys were counseled, career talk and words of encouragement were shared. Some gave their lives to Christ, and Pastor Tope, one of the volunteers, prayed for the children who surrendered their lives to Christ.

Other people reached were beggars on the street and cripples. Pastor Elizabeth Olasupo said words of prayers and prophetic declarations to the children to wrap up the event. The children expressed their gratitude and joyously appreciated us saying "GOD BLESS YOU "repeatedly. Moving forward, WEBS ministries plan to support some of the kids with clothes and footwear, help them go back to school, accommodation, and handwork
