Back-to-school outreach in Mabushi community, Abuja
It's with gratitude to God Almighty, on Friday, September 9, 2022 at LEA Primary School, Mabushi, Abuja. 22 Mabushi Children were sponsored by WEBS Ministries with Tuition and other learning materials needed. It was a collaborative effort from God’s Family (Headed by Evangelist Izehiokhon-Codo Bukola Doris), CP Udeh, Evangelist Haastrup, and OCC Samaritan Purse International Relief.
WEBS representatives also spoke introducing WEBS and encouraging the children, games were also played with them. Other guests present also gave speeches. After the talks, the scholarship disbursement commenced. Scholarships were given to a total of 22 children. The funds were presented directly to the representatives of the schools and some parents present ranging from ₦5,000 - ₦30,000 as the case may be. There were also identified fatherless children who were prioritized.
At the end of the program, the school heads expressed their gratitude for the funds and explained how the funds were very encouraging especially when they know how difficult the economy is for most people. The program was successfully concluded to the Glory of God and ended on a very emotional note.
The program has led WEBS to identify 8 Fatherless children to be placed on a termly scholarship. Ranging from primary to secondary school both males and females spread across Nigeria.
